Too lows

So driving back home a couple days ago I finally managed to murder my oil pan.  Coming up over the hill on College ave I wasn't really paying attention and at the last second I see something in the road. Wasn't really sure what it was but it was too late to dodge it so I figured what the hell, I'll probably clear it. As soon as I hit it, I all sorts of crazy noises and then after a few seconds I start smelling oil. So I come to a stop and shut it down.  I get out and see a huge trail of oil on the road behind me. Awesome. A guy pulls up and gives me a push to get my car out of the road. He then comes down and says "I think this is what you hit, looks like a piece of iron"  I later found out that it was a chunk of water pipe from all the construction happening downtown.  So I called AAA, took of my front and sides so it could be towed and hung out and waited for the truck to show up. By the time the tow truck came, it was already getting light out.

Another great thing about that night is finding out once again just how shitty isis coilovers can be. When the tow truck guy lowered my car off of the front wheel dolly, my coilover committed suicide. I had already broken the front right one, now the left one decided it was its time to go. So needless to say, I think its time for some new coils.
